Author Francisca Sánchez and artist Nicolás Sánchez have recently published a bilingual book, When I Dream/Cuando Sueño. They are available to visit schools and classrooms to share their book and engage students, staff, and parents in creative writing and visual arts activities designed to (1) build community, (2) enhance common-core supportive imaginative thinking, design, and communication skills in students, (3) expand staff’s repertoire of pedagogical strategies for engaging students in high intellectual performances, and (4) engage parents and community in supporting their children’s academic and 21st century success.

Author/artist visits can include in-classroom presentations for students, assembly presentations, workshops for teachers and other staff, and parent activities and can be carried out in English and/or Spanish.
